Get The Lead Out

Get the lead out!
Step by step guide:

In order to get the lead out, you’ve determined that your school/facility requires drinking water testing.  What do you do next?

Follow these steps to get your water tested:

  • Determine who will collect the samples (school staff or Roth Env.).
  • Determine how many sampling points to collect. All sources for consumption are typically required sampling points – drinking fountains, kitchen sinks, classroom sinks, etc. It is common for 1st draw/2nd draw sampling to be required. It’s a good idea to add a few extra containers to your total in case any taps were overlooked in the original count or if resampling is necessary.
  • Contact us for prior to collecting samples to secure pricing, sampling kits, and scheduling sample collection/submittal.
  • Collect the samples following provided sampling instructions. Complete the provided documents and submit them and the samples to the laboratory for analysis. Samples must be received at the laboratory within 7 days of collection.
  • Analysis of the samples is based on standard turnaround time which may vary based on workload (approximately 7-10 business days).
  • Roth Environmental will provide a written report via email once results have been reviewed.
